5 Litre Green Johnstones Shed & Fence Treatment
- PREPARATION
Ensure all timber is clean, dry and free from surface coatings, such as paint, varnish or polish. If the timber is affected by mould, lichen, algae or moss, use a fungicidal pre-treatment prior to application of Shed and Fence Treatment.

- APPLICATION
Stir Shed & Fence Treatment well before and during use. Whilst applying ensure gloves are worn to avoid staining hands. Brush liberally and evenly onto exposed surfaces. Wash off any splashes on plants otherwise the foliage may be stained. One coat is required on sound new timber. Old weathered timber or porous timber may require two coats. Do not apply to wet wood, or in temperatures below 5 degrees Centigrade or when rain is imminent. Wear a suitable face mask when creating dust. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960's paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. PLEASE NOTE: The final colour will depend on the colour and porosity of the surface.
- COVERAGE
Shed & Fence Treatment will cover approximately 6 square metres per litre on rough sawn timber and approximately 12 square metres per litre on planed timber.
- DRYING TIME
Allow 2-4 hours between coats.
- AFTER USE
Remove as much product as possible from brushes before cleaning. Brushes should be washed immediately after use in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Replace lid firmly. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
- GENERAL INFORMATION
To avoid the risk of spillage, always store and transport in a secure upright position.
